Terms of service
1. Scope
These terms apply to retention analytics, workshops and advisory work supplied by Compilerscopebase. A written proposal or statement of work will describe the scope, timing, fees and deliverables for each engagement.
2. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate context, timely access to agreed data and a lawful basis for sharing it. Unless specifically agreed, please provide aggregated or de-identified data and do not send passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary personal information.
3. Analysis and decisions
Our findings are professional interpretations based on the information available. They are not guarantees of commercial performance. You remain responsible for product, marketing, legal and operational decisions.
4. Fees and timing
Fees and payment milestones appear in the accepted proposal. Delays in access, feedback or approvals may move delivery dates. Material changes to scope require written agreement and may affect fees.
5. Intellectual property
Once agreed fees are paid, you may use engagement-specific reports and recommendations internally. We retain ownership of pre-existing methods, templates and general know-how. Each party retains its existing intellectual property.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties will protect confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for the engagement. This duty does not cover information already public, independently developed or lawfully received elsewhere.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability relating to an engagement is limited to fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
8. Ending an engagement
Either party may end work for material breach if the breach is not corrected after reasonable written notice. Charges for completed work and committed costs remain payable. Refund treatment is described in our refund policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute directly.
10. Contact
